We booked this place quite some time ago for a cheeky little week away in May. Although it is showing the Aquarium 2 we were in Aquarium 1 block across the road. we had read the reviews and thought what have we done but when we arrived and walked in we were well pleased. We had a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 adults, the inlaws had the bedroom and my wife and I the sofa bed. This was very comfortable especially after a night on the strip, we slept very well. (might have been to do with the drinks involved). The apartment had every you needed for a week or 2 away. location was just a 5 minute walk to Neptune's. 5 minutes to the market but far enough away to not have constant noise all night. Well equipped with a full sized cooker and fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. washing machine in the bathroom and a dining table and chairs. Tv also there if wanting to watch. the pool was across the road at the 2 and 3 blocks and was very quiet whilst we there. The Mad Munk was ideal for drinks and snacks and a large supermarket underneath our block with very reasonable prices and selection. The pool was a nice size with a walkway in for disabled which was good. night life is Benidorm and we had some great nights seeing and visiting different bars. This wasn't a relaxing weekend but it never is in Benidorm. Really enjoyed and would definitely go back if we could be put in the same room. thanks to the girls in the Benidorm-apartments office which was 2 minutes away. Any issues were dealt with very promptly and they were both superb thanks for ensuring a great holiday was had.
Just come back after 5 nights with 2 other girls had to pay 200 euros up front deposit because we were coming home on the Sunday they said the is no reception or cleaners so we will have to wait till after we come home before we can have our deposit back took about 10 minutes to open are door of are apartment there are 5 locks the is no television we had one toilet rolls then you have to buy your own whistling kettle took about 30 minutes to boil only 2 people can have a shower then the hot water is freezing the cleaner came in once and just changed towels that was all on the good point it was in ideal location not far from nightlife
Room Tip: There is no good rooms
We visited here in may for a hen party as a party of 12 in 4 apartments. Rooms were a bit small but clean and had everything we needed. Our bathroom was modern which wasn't the case in another room we had but still did the job. For what you pay these apartments are ideal. 10/15 mins walk to the main strip. Bar downstairs the mad monk serve cheap drinks and nice food and the staff were lovely. The only negative was check in. Nightmare!! Two massive groups and one person on the desk. Was waiting at least an hour before our group were being seen. Check out was much quicker and got our deposits back no problem.
I would stay here again for a cheap girly weekend its ideal for large groups
Traveled here with a group of friends and we were really just looking for somewhere we could sleep for the night that was cheap and close to the nightlife (about a 10-15 minute walk away). This hotel ticked these boxes and we were happy with the choice we made.
The room was very basic and small but had a decent shower and a nice enough balcony. The swimming pool is actually very good (if a little cold) and was much better than expected.
It really comes down to what your expectations are as to whether this is the right place for you. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it for a romantic trip away but if you are away with friends and looking for somewhere to put your head down at the end of the night then it's fairly decent.
Very cheap hotel, and you get what you pay for.Good location, rooms were very basic, but were clean. As a group we had booked 4 rooms, some were considerably larger than others. Would certainly recommend for any stag-do's / Hen parties.
Room Tip: We were on floor 8, was very quiet.
I recently visited with a party of 17 others. Prices were very low, but was ideal for this type of group holiday. Very straight forward. We had no issues with any aspect of the accommodation. Showers were hot with good pressure, room was small but clean, kettle, toaster, plates and cutlery all provided. Stayed on 16th floor, great view. I wondered if we had booked a bit too basic based on price, but having stayed, I wouldn't hesitate in going back to this hotel on a group break. The only criticism was that the pool was closed, and was only due to open on 1st May.
We booked 4 rooms for 9 of us at the Acuarium II for a hen weekend because of price and location. We arrived about 11pm on the Friday evening by transfer bus. The paperwork said we were to pick up keys from a hotel nearby. Two of us went to get the keys while the rest waited at the apartments. On our return with the keys 2 women came up behind us and stole the purse out of a handbag. Be very careful with belongings. These women obviously targeted us because they were near us when we got off the coach and were just waiting for the opportunity. The apartments were basic and clean with views over the 'Benidorm' hotel pools. We had 2 studios and 2 apartments. The apartments were much more spacious than the studio. The studio just has a settee and a pull out bed to sleep on, so very little room to move around when the beds are pulled out. The shower was always just lukewarm. The lifts are very slow. We didn't spend too much time in the rooms so they were adequate for us. The weather was lovely and very warm but the pool was not open. We felt that the Acuarium II is value for money.
Room Tip: great views from higher floors
