Once again been to Moby dick apartments can't fault the apartments they are basic but very good value for money the apartments are very clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful wouldn't go anywhere else would recommend to anyone
I was a guest at this hotel in Sep 13 and I would not be visiting again. On arrival we had to go to the bar that was attached to the building and they had no paperwork or anything stating that we where guests at this aparthotel. With no information or even small print of our booking once we had eventually got our room they asked us for 100 euro deposit each which I was shocked about having never been to Benidorm before. Sunbeds that where falling apart where 3 euros per day and not once did we get a cleaner in our room. Our beds where never changed, we never got new towels or even toilet paper. Would not be staying here again.
We have stayed here for a few years now its in a ideal area away from the nightlife and just a short walk in to town, the rooms are clean and the staff are always helpfull , the bar staff are sound and the most people are Dutch that use the bar and are always polite , we are out all day so we showerAnd sleep here and we like it, just back in from September and they are doing all the outside up , but yes we will be backin 2015
Room Tip: Would say they are all the same

My husband and I have just come back from Benidorm after a months holiday stayed at the moby dick this is the fourth time we have stayed there in the last year and wouldn't go anywhere else the staff are very friendly and helpful apartments are clean and there is everything you need ie washing machine kettle microwave and not far from the entertainment
a group of 12 of us stayed here in September occupying 4 rooms, after reading recent reviews i was a bit apprehensive but i needn't have worried very nice pool rooms very clean and the lady who owns the bar down stairs was very polite , the only draw back was the scaffolding out the back but as the hotel is having work done it didn't bother us and there wasn't too much noise from it ,it is also in a good area to get into new/old town , we liked it that much we are going back next September
Room Tip: very close to centre of Benidorm
I read the reviews before I went but I still went with an open mind!!! Omg never been to somewhere so filthy dirty and dated in my life!!!. and the staff are so rude and ignorant!!! The room had not been cleaned for months by the look of it, the beds you had to make yourself with no change of bedding (you have to pay if you want clean bedding) no cleaner ever been seen there, towels if you wanted them replaced you had to pay!!! And you have to buy your own toilette rolls and also pay a deposit of £80 or €100 euros. They are having renovating work done to the outside of the building so the noise of drills, sanders etc was very Loud from 8am till 6pm. PLEASE DO NOT GO IT WILL RUIN YOUR HOLS.
On arrival, the room we were given was dirty and had NOT been cleaned since the last people vacated, upon complaining, the receptionist cleaned the room herself. The room itself was basic, but had one mirror, only in the bathroom, with no plug sockets anywhere near it for drying/styling hair. The bath was a half sized one, and the boiler was small, it only allowed you to quarter fill the bath and the plug wasn't the right size so the water was running out. On our 3rd day there was no hot water, upon reporting this, a man came and put some sticky tape over a button and said the water will be hot in one hour. The next day I asked to change rooms, because of the hot water situation. We got a different room which was better. The main problem then was we were on a low floor near a metal gate that banged everytime someone came back at all hours of the night/morning. It was very hot, with no air conditioning. So you had to chose between overheating or the racket of the gate, which was bad enough with the window closed, our bedding and towels never got changed at all, we were lucky to get the change of rooms otherwise I fear that we would of had the same ones for 10 nights. I have stayed in Benidorm many times, these apartments are the worst i've stayed in, I would NOT recommend them. We paid £350 to stay 10 nights at the Moby Dick, what a rip off. We are stayed in much nicer places for less in the past. It sound cheap £35 a night, but it was horrible. We happily stayed away as much as possible. There were also pebble dashing the back of the hotel causing noise, dust and stones all over the corridors. Just horrible!!!!!!!!!.
